Welcome to the Burton Mail

The Burton Mail is a daily paid-for newspaper covering the East Staffordshire, South Derbyshire and North West Leicestershire areas. Currently it circulates to 12,736 - (ABC Jul-Dec 2009)

The only paid-for title in Burton-on-Trent, the Mail has been established since 1898, and offers all the latest news from the town and its surrounding area.

Published from Monday to Saturday, the Burton Mail changed from being an evening newspaper, on sale around lunchtime, to being a morning publication in 2006, now in the shops at around breakfast time each day.

 

Sport plays a major role in the Burton Mail, with full coverage of Burton Albion, Derby County and Gresley football clubs. The Mail's sports team also follows the fortunes of teams in all other local sports.

Monday's paper includes coverage of sport at a local and national level, with in-depth analysis and tables. It also boasts our four-page Mail Remembers section.

Wednesday is jobs day, with all the area's vacancies advertised in the Mail's recruitment section; while Thursday is the day to look out for your dream home with houses int he area for sale and to let in our HomesNow pull-out.

Friday's paper aims to encourage you to kick back and relax with a weekly entertainments section, with a full guide to cinema, local theatre, music and events throughout the region.

And Saturday's Weekender section will keep you occupied through the weekend; ready to pick up your next copy of the Burton Mail on Monday!
