BURTON Albion players had their blood pressure tested to warn people about strokes.
The Burton Rotary Club organised the event to get more people to check their own blood pressure.
Cyril Ford, of the rotary club, said: “People should their blood pressure because people of all ages dies from strokes.
“It’s not just the elderly, that’s the reason we got Burton Albion involved.
“It’s just as likely to happen to their players as it is to anyone else.”
The rotary club will offer free blood pressure tests in the Octagon shopping centre from 10.00am until 4.00pm on Saturday, April 5.
