THE annual recruitment drive at the Alton Towers has hit the ground running with more than 1,200 seasonal positions on offer for the start season.
The theme park is now looking for 200 people more than last year due to its top secret ride due to open as well as three new Burger Kitchen restaurants.
Recruitment is done via an on-line application form through the website www.altontowersjobs.com and it has already had more than 2,000 applications before the main advertising campaign had even started.
It is also recruiting for around 40 permanent roles in the hotels, including chefs, housekeeping, restaurants and conference and events, with jobs still available.
Kerry Alcock, resort recruitment manager, said: &8220;As always, we will be looking for outgoing people with great communication skills, as we look for personality over qualifications every time.
&8220;It&8217;s crucial we find people who will fit the culture of our business as our parent company is growing at a rapid rate.&8221;
