Annual meeting offers look back at past year

MEMBERS of the public are being urged to attend the annual parish meeting of Brizlincote Parish Council later this week.

The meeting will take place from 7pm on Thursday at Violet Way Academy, in Violet Way.

A spokesman for the council said: “This is the yearly opportunity for all parishioners to raise any issues with the parish council and to hear reports on the council’s work over the last year within the area.”

Details of next flower arranging date revealed

DETAILS of the next Burton Flower Club meeting have been revealed.

The group will welcome June Borrowdale with ‘The Impressionists’ on Friday, May 2 at the Priory Centre, in Church Road, Stretton.

Wildlife expert to wow the crowds with her talk

WILDLIFE lovers look set to be treated to a talk on the Isles of Lundy and Skomer next month.

Debbie Alston will be hosting the event from 7.30pm on Tuesday, May 6 at All Saints Church, in Branston Road, Burton
