THE RSPCA has submitted a plan to extend its centre in Stretton.

The sanctuary, in Hillfield Lane, has applied to add a single storey link extension and a single storey side extension to its existing cattery, with the work to be carried out by Anthony Short and partners.

No conditions have been made in conjunction with the application, which was officially registered with East Staffordshire Borough Council yesterday.

Consultees listed in the application include Councillors Len Milner, Rebecca Fowkes and Maggie Carlton at East Staffordshire Borough Council, along with Sam Tilley, clerk at Stretton Parish Council.

Consultation for the application will expire on August 14.

Full details of the application can be viewed on the East Staffordshire Borough Council website, where members of the public are welcome to add any comments they wish to raise with regards to the application.
