ARRIVA has launched an app to give public transport users a feel for what it's like behind the wheel of a bus.
The app, called Arriva BusTown, puts users at the heart of a bus depot and allows them to take control by building their own network of routes and services.
The gamer will be faced with real-life issues such as roadworks and traffic throughout the game, forcing users to navigate their way around pitfalls.
Arriva is also offering users who get to level three in the game by August 10 to be entered for a chance to win a 10-day travel pass, while anyone managing to make it to level four by August 17 could win a four-weekly pass.
A spokesman for Arriva said: "We're giving people a little insight into what it's like to run a depot in a fun and engaging way.
"It won't be plain sailing, but there may be a few surprises along the way."
