A GIANT charity pub crawl will pass through Ashby next week.
The event called Britain's Biggest Pub Tour (BBPT) has already begun and will stumble into the Bull's Head on Wednesday.
BBPT is the first of its kind and will attempt to have a round or two in 620 pubs across the UK over a matter of a few months.
The event aims to raise money alongside other fund-raisers for children's charity Variety, which works with sick children.
Bull's Head assistant manager Ben Lee said: "We have already raised around £200 for the charity by having a raffle, collections and sponsorship for the bike ride."
The tour smashed its fund-raising target of £100,000 within just six weeks of the 19-week tour.
It puts the pub crawl on track to be the biggest ever single fund-raising event in aid of Variety.
With 13 weeks to go, the tour has already raised a staggering £160,000.
