All those foodies out there will be pleased to know that the Good Food Show will be coming to Birmingham’s NEC this winter.

From 28th November to 2nd December there will be celebrity chefs cooking live on stage, fantastic MasterChef features plus great shopping and gift ideas. With live demonstrations, top tips, seasonal produce, there will be hundreds of ways to feed your culinary inspiration. So instead of getting stressed about cooking Christmas dinner this year, why not book into one of the many Birmingham hotels and visit the Good Food Show to get excited about it instead?

Saturday Kitchen Live

Returning to the BBC Good Food Show for its third year, this foodie fix – which attracts more than 2.5 million viewers – is now a firm fixture of the festival. Completely free of charge, with its very own stage hosted by Lawrence Keogh, you will see the Saturday Kitchen team in action with top cookery demos, guest chefs taking part in the Omelette Challenge and surprise celebrities facing ‘Food Heaven and Hell’.

The Great British Bake Off Stage

The third series of this hit TV show may have finished, but The Great British Bake Off will be hosting its own stage, with the winner making their live debut, daily sessions with renowned cake sculpturist Connie Viney and appearances from the queen of cakes Mary Berry and master baker Paul Hollywood.

The Great British Beer Experience

For the seventh year running, CAMRA will be holding the Great British Beer Experience, showcasing a series of tutored tastings run by beer experts Roger Protz, Christine Cryne and Marston’s Head Brewers and giving visitors the opportunity to sample and learn about some of Britain’s greatest real ales.

M&S Christmas Theatre

For festive inspiration and to prepare you for all of your Christmas entertaining, celebrity chefs will wow you as they cook live on stage, with demonstrations from Rachel Allen, James Nathan, Michael Caines, Eric Lanlard and Lotte Duncan showing you everything, from how to cook a vegetarian dinner, right through to using the leftovers to create the perfect feast for Boxing Day.

Celebrity Chefs in the Supertheatre

Included in all general admission seats is a standard seat in the Supertheatre, where you can watch celebrity chefs like James Martin, Gino D’Acampo and the Hairy Bikers in live demonstrations.

MasterChef Experience

A live version of the hit TV programme, the MasterChef Experience returns to the BBC Good Food Show, giving visitors the opportunity to get up close to the action and get a real taste of the TV series.

And to make everyone’s day even more enjoyable than last year, they’ve increased the size of the space to give larger aisle ways and more places to sit down and relax. So what are you waiting for? Book a cheap hotel in Birmingham and start looking forward to Christmas!
