BURTON Albion star Billy Kee has left the Brewers to join League One new boys Scunthorpe United.

The 23-year-old striker has moved to Glanford Park for an undisclosed fee and signed a two-year deal with the Iron.

He scored twice at the weekend as the Brewers beat Dagenham 2-1, but has fallen down the pecking order at the Pirelli Stadium after a third injury-hit pre-season.

Boss Gary Rowett is expected to make a signing before the transfer deadline to replace Kee.

In all, he made 117 appearances for Albion, scoring 42 goals.

Very suprised. Wonder if Gary R agreed. If not could mean the end of him at Burton.
