POLICE have named the man who was found dead in a Burton car park.

Staffordshire Police revealed that the identity of the person found in a car in the Hollows car park, off Stapenhill Road, on Monday morning was Pavel Klima.

He was 38-year-old and he lived in Anglesey Road, Burton.

Officers spent the majority of the day combing the area for clues after receiving a call just before 7am from a member of the public who discovered the body in a silver car.

The car park had to be cordoned while forensic investigations of the area were undertaken by specially trained officers.

A spokesman for the force said : “The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for HM Coroner.”

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen what had happened.

Anyone with information is urged to call Staffordshire Police on 101.
