HAVE you ever wondered what happens to your Burton Mail once you have finished reading it?

Well, one of our readers has an come up with a unique use for his copies.

John Gould revealed how he was tasked with producing a huge cauldron for the next production by Mellow Dramatics. He found that he needed lots of paper for the covering, about four or five layers, so the Mail has proved an ideal material for the project.

Unfortunately, the finished product will be painted black so audiences won't get to see the great range of stories.

However, people watching the production of 'Honk' at the Brewhouse, in Union Street, in September, will remember the papier mache making up the cauldron has had a helping hand from the Mail.

More information on the new show or the group is available by heading online and visiting www.mellow-dramatics.org/
