PEOPLE are expected to descend on a popular Burton pub for its tenth annual beer and sausage festival.

The Burton Bridge Inn, in Bridge Street, is hosting the event once again today, tomorrow and Saturday and it will feature real ales, ciders and 24 different beers from across the country ranging from ones brewed in the home of brewing to all the way in the North East.

The different ales will be supplemented by locally sourced sausages in six different flavours, which will be served with freshly baked bread.

Landlord Carl Stout said: “The festival is back for the tenth time and we can’t wait to welcome people to the pub for lots of different ales and some great, locally produced food.

“During the event we always hold a fund-raising collection, which this will year will help benefit the 16th Burton (Stapenhill) Scout Group.

“All money from the fund-raising will be handed over to the group after the weekend.”
