THE weather may have improved over recent weekends, but it still caused a series of postponements on Saturday and Sunday.

The only under-9 game to go ahead was the McDonalds Under-9 Knockout Cup, played on the Astro Turf, which saw a 2-1 victory for Belvedere Red against Hilton Falcons.

On target in the win were Charlie Freckleton and Jack Ward, while Alfie Walker replied for Hilton.

A superb 9-0 win for Hilton Jets over Whittington Villasaw them go five points clear at the top of the Winshill Soccer School Under-10 Division One.

On target were Max Bosley, Danny Clover, Sam Mycroft, Callum Samson, while there was a brace for Max Peplow and a stunning hat-trick from Nathan Brown.

A solitary goal from Riley Nixon ensured Stretton Eagles picked up their second win of the season, beating Winshill.

The same 1-0 scoreline was the result for Marlborough Rovers against TS Sports Hammers, thanks to Brody Lee-Moores only goal of the game.

The points were shared between Hilton Tornadoes and Chellaston Black Sox after strikes from Oliver Boyes (Hilton) and Thomas Cripps (Chellaston) secured a 1-1 draw.

Rocester Red came away with a comfortable 5-0 win against Barton Rovers Spartans. On target were Kieran Swinson with a double and a hat-trick from Charlie Cope.

Samuel Allan-Smith’s brace earned Whittington Lasers a draw with Uttoxeter that saw them move level on points at the top of the Brian Mole Under-10 Division Two.

It took goals from William Matthews and Jake Parker to seal a narrow 2-1 win for Santos Juniors Ravens against Riverside Black, for whom Cameron Bidder was on hand to reply.

Goals from Lucas Towers and Nathan Wright sealed all three points for Netherseale St Peters against Doveridge.

Belvedere Red secured a good 4-0 victory against Ashby Ivanhoe Knights courtesy of strikes from Ashley Dawson, Jack Newbold and a brace from Cameron Wigley.

Albert Village sit comfortably on top of Hardy Signs Under-10 Division Three after a narrow 2-1 win against TS Sports.

The Village scorers were Dilhan Choudary and Morgan Rowland, while James Pruden replied for Sports.

Belvedere White took a 3-0 win over Newhall Tigers comfortably, thanks to goals from Alex Hodson, Edward Jones and Stuart Lacey.

It ended 2-2 between Barton Hercules and Willington, with Toby Dupres and Oliver Keeling (Willington) and a double from Jack Branson (Barton) sharing the spoils.

A narrow 3-2 win for Hatton over LRT came courtesy of goals from Oliver Higgs and a brace from Connor Spendlove, while Jack Smith and Ben Wright replied for LRT.

Chellaston Red Sox’s second win of the season was a 2-1 victory over Rolleston Red, courtesy of a double from Joshua Goozee, while William Hannibal replied.

Belvedere Black’s 5-0 win over Albert Village Hurricanes keeps their 100 per cent record intact at the top of the BJFL Under-10 Division Four.

On target were Henry Collins, Aidan Locke (2) and George Malkin (2).

Armando Bogdanov netted both in a 2-1 win for Riverside Red, with Reuben Betts replying for Marlborough Black.

Rocester Blues’ 5-0 win over Alrewas Colts came after strikes from Owen Carrington, Robert Samuel, Henry Wallace and a double from Nathan Winstanley.

There were no names supplied for the scorers in the 3-0 win for Outwoods Hawks against Woodville Rangers Blue.

Midway helped themselves to a comfortable 5-0 win against TS Sports Rovers thanks to goals from Louis Mawbey, Taylor Smith and a hat-trick from Daniel Barsby.

There were no games played in any under-11 leagues, but in Taylor Made Flooring Under-12 Division One, Winshill Gold settled for a 1-1 draw against Doveridge.

Harry Heartfield struck for Winshill, Alexander Jones replied for Doveridge.

Luke Hodgkinson netted both to seal a 2-1 win for Hilton Harriers Black against Repton Casuals.

Keane Bond and Max Guest netted for Mayfield and Thomas Alford and Brennan Walker-Insley for Gresley as their game ended all square at 2-2.

Midway White still sit comfortably at the top of the Taylor Made Flooring Under-12 Division Two after a 6-1 win over Ashby Ivanhoe.

The scorers were Oliver Kearns, Karum Singh Nizzar and doubles for Joseph Groves and Oliver Mason, while netting the reply for Ashby was Cole Meadows-Quinn.

Marlborough Rovers ran out 3-0 winners against Abbots Bromley courtesy of strikes from Louis Moss, Jake Sever and William Smith.

Harry Tivey and Matthew Walker were on target in the narrow 2-1 victory for Winshill Green against Burton All Stars, for whom Connor Beresford netted the reply.

Rolleston’s big 8-0 win against Willington came after strikes from James Whittaker, Daniel Purcell and stunning hatricks from Daniel Campbell and Thomas Hackett.

It ended all square for the leaders of the Taylor Made Flooring Under-12 Division Three, Barton Hercules, as they drew 1-1 with Stapenhill Swans.

On target for Hercules was Joshua Moore, while the reply for Stapenhill came from Danny Ray Stanley.

Second-placed Tutbury Tigers ran out 4-0 winners against Hilton Harriers Orange thanks to goals from Charlie Jones, Ben Midgley, Mason Payne and Aaron Pritchard-Fern.

The points were shared between Belvedere Red and Midway Red, on target were Luke O’Gorman (Belvedere) and Rhys Ensor (Midway).

It took goals from Ethan Wilson, a brace from Declan Brough and a superb hatrick from Adam Tomlin to see Hatton Sports run out comfortable 6-0 winners against Alrewas Colts.
