FRAZER Clarke has brought another gold medal back to Burton after winning the European Union Boxing Championships in Bulgaria.

Boxing in Sofia, the same city in which he won his previous gold medal at the Strandja tournament earlier this year, Horninglow banger Clarke defeated Italian Guido Vianello in the final with a unanimous 3-0 decision.

He took to Twitter after the bout and said: "The colour was gold, won unanimous in the final of the EU championships - made up!!"

In the semi-final, Clarke beat Tony Yoka of France on Friday after seeing off Moldova's Alexei Zavatin in the quarters.

Well done Frazer. Everyone at Burton Amateur Boxing Club will be proud as punch my friend. You've had some fantastic development opportunities at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield in recent years but credit to ALL the club coaches at Burton ABC who have made a contribution to your success by helping you progress over the last decade or so. Credit to the club under Pete Holmes and Tommy Bickle and credit to the team of coaches under Richie Joyce.
