A BURTON man will return to court next month after admitting driving a car in the town while banned.

Yunus admitted driving a Seat on the A38 near Lichfield on July 2, while also still banned, and therefore not holding any valid motor insurance.

Magistrates sitting at Burton's Horninglow Street courthouse were also informed Yunus failed to appear at court to answer the charges on July 23 – a fact taht will also be taken into consideration during sentencing.

Magistrates asked the probation service to prepare a pre-sentence report.

Yunus is scheduled to appear at Cannock Magistrates' Court on Monday, September 1, when he is due to discover his fate for his crimes.

Yunus was granted conditional bail to keep appointments arranged with the probation service until the sentencing hearing.
