BUG hunting and birdwatching are on the agenda at Twycross Zoo on Saturday.
Families and being encouraged to join in with the BIAZA BioBlitz 2014 at the popular attraction.
A BioBlitz aims to record as many animals and plants in an area as possible, and the zoo is looking to get as many people involved as it can.
In 2013, the countrywide BioBlitz saw 914 species of fauna and flora recorded, of which 26 were of significant conservational concern.
Anyone who comes to help will investigate who is living in the Twycross Zoo nature reserve through bug hunting, birdwatching and other activities.
The activity will take place in the wildlife zone from 11am to 3pm.
