IF YOU are looking for a new cute and cuddly addition to your family, Lucky the rabbit could be just what you’re looking for.
The two-year-old female rabbit is our pet of the weeks and has been living at the RSPCA centre in Stretton since September.
A spokesman for the centre said: “Lucky is a pretty spayed female rabbit who could live with a neutered male companion.”
Lucky is just one of many animals that is need of a new home.
The RSPCA will be encouraging people to adopt a rabbit ahead of Rabbit Awareness Week next week.
The centre also had a large number of other animals that need new homes, including cats, dogs and guinea pigs.
The last rabbit that we featured in the Mail was fortunate enough to catch the eye of a reader and was re-homed.
Anybody who is interested in visiting the centre to see the animals with a view to adopting one can call 01283 569165.
More information on other animals at the centre, which receives no funding from the national charity, can be found at rspca-burtonbranch.org.uk
