BURTON Albion fielded a young side against Nottingham Forest in their final pre-season friendly - but still came away with a 0-0 draw.
The Brewers, who featured first-team regulars Billy Kee, Adam McGurk, Matty Palmer and Dean Lyness, gave as good as they got against the Championship visitors at St George's Park at lunchtime.
Forest had pitched up with Eric Lichaj, Greg Halford, Jack Hobbs, Danny Collins and Chris Cohen in their starting line-up.
But Albion, for whom Joe Doyle stood out in central midfield, held their own to follow up a 0-0 draw with Stoke and 1-0 defeat to Derby.
