BURTON Albion’s chairman will be the guest speaker at this month’s business club meeting.
Ben Robinson, chairman of Burton Albion Football Club, will be talking about business matters and the local community projects that the local club gets involved with and which have a special place in his heart.
This meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 12.
At January’s meeting Burton Business Club learned potentially life-saving advice from Steve Tiso and Fay Holloway, of Etwall Training Providers.
Ian Page, chairman of Burton Business Club, said: “I am delighted to say that Burton Business Club is the fastest-growing club in Burton at the moment, with seven new members joining in January alone, but this is only the start and I’m looking forward to a very busy year for everyone.
“I’d also like to flag up that I’m keen to hear from anyone who would like to take a more active role in the running of Burton Business Club.
Our Annual General Meeting will take place on April 9 and we will be looking to appoint a new vice chair. There are also other opportunities to join the committee.”
The business club is a networking group run by business people.
