MEMBERS of the public are being offered the chance to play a part in shaping the future of a charity which has supported countless families in Burton and South Derbyshire.
St Giles Hospice is looking to add four new members to its Board of Trustees as it seeks to expand its service in the coming years.
No specific qualifications are needed to serve as a trustee of the charity, which supports the families of people suffering with cancer and other serious illnesses, although a background in business or nursing would be preferable.
Chairman of trustees Simon James said: "This is a particularly exciting time for volunteers with experience in the business, research or clinical sectors to come on board."
Anybody interested in becoming a trustee should call Shirley Wall 01543 434537.
