A BUS with a difference will be stopping by this month to offer help and guidance to anyone affected by cancer.
The Macmillan Cancer Support mobile service is visiting Swadlincote on September 12.
A team of specialists travel on the bus offering free, confidential advice and support to anyone with questions about cancer.
The charity is reminding people that cancer does not just affect sufferers physically, but can have impacts on all aspects of their life, especially financially. Helen Kennedy, a Macmillan information and support specialist on the unit, said: "It's really important that people living with cancer are able to access the financial advice and support they are entitled to so they can focus on what's most important – their health.
"We can help signpost people to Macmillan benefits advisers who can provide free, confidential advice."
The bus will be parked in High Street, Swadlincote, from 10am to 4pm, and everyone is welcome to drop in to chat with the specialists.
