A WOMAN had to be taken to hospital following a crash on a South Derbyshire road.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called at just after 2pm yesterday to an incident in Cadley Lane, Caldwell.
The crash involved a green Rover and a skip lorry.
The female driver of the car was hurt and was taken to hospital for treatment.
A spokesman for Derbyshire Police said: "We were called to an incident along Cadley Lane at just after 2pm.
"Officers arrived at the scene to find that a Rover had come off the road and ended up in a ditch following an incident involving a skip lorry.
"The driver of the lorry was not hurt but the female driver of the car had to be taken to hospital for her injuries to be assessed.
"The car also had another adult and a child in it.The road did not have to be closed."
