PEOPLE living in South Derbyshire are being asked to have their say on street lighting throughout the borough.

Derbyshire County Council is looking at ways in which it can make £775,000 worth of cuts to its street lighting budget and has announced that it will no longer be able to routinely replace street light bulbs.

It is also considering installing LED bulbs in areas that are viewed as a high priority as these bulbs last longer.
