ADVICE and training to support men with mental health and homelessness issues in Burton is set to be rolled out by a local charity.

The Eaton Foundation is offering a course to professional organisations such as the police and fire services and local councils. It will also be open to anyone who comes into contact with vulnerable men.

The first course, which offers advice on helping to support men with mental health issues, will be held at The Spread Eagle in Rolleston on Dove on October 28 between 10am and 4pm, and will cost £35.

Courses covering other areas will also be held at The Spread Eagle over the coming months, covering areas such as suicide, self-harm and homelessness using cognitive behavioural therapy.
