A CHILDREN’S football team have been given a boost with a donation of equipment by a Burton superstore.

Able Too United FC has won a national competition to receive a wishlist of Active Kids equipment, from Sainsbury’s.

Colleagues from Sainsbury’s, in Union Street, Burton, have now presented the equipment.

The supermarket encourages customers to donate their Active Kids vouchers to a registered school, group or clubs in Burton

Guy Swindells, Sainsbury’s store manager, said: “It’s fantastic news for the staff and children at Able Too United FC as we know how much the scheme means to them. It’s great for our colleagues to provide them with equipment which is going to make a positive difference on their teaching of a healthy lifestyle to pupils.”
