ENGLISH futsal coaches were treated to a tutorial with one of the world's top technicians at St. George's Park as Mico Martic attended a coach development workshop.
Nearly 80 futsal coaches from across the country were present at the Burton centre to learn from the FIFA lead futsal instructor, former Croatia boss and player and the current Finland head coach.
Futsal is played on a smaller field and mainly played indoors. It can be considered a version of five-a-side football.

"In England, we recognise that we have much to learn from the rest of the futsal world in all elements of the game, but particularly with regard to coaching," said Simon Walker, head of futsal at the FA.
"If we are to catch up with the leading futsal nations, it is essential that we increasingly invite coaching talent of the likes of Mico and Jorge Braz to England to share their knowledge and experiences to help develop our coaches in England.
"It is important we learn from the best."
A national futsal coaching conference is to be held at St. George's Park in November 2014.
