THE winners of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent have announced plans for a show in Staffordshire as part of a nationwide tour.
Collabro will visit Stoke-on-Trent’s Victoria Hall for one night only as part of their tour and will be joined by special guest and runner up Lucy Kay early next year.
The English musical theatre boy band wowed the Britain’s Got Talent judges and viewers with their renditions of classic tracks.
They will perform at The Victoria Hall on Thursday, March 5.
Michael Auger, Richard Hadfield, Jamie Lambert, Thomas Leak and Matthew Pagan only formed a month prior to their audition for Britain’s Got Talent and came together over their shared love of musical theatre.
In February, their lives changed forever when they performed ‘Stars’ from Les Misérables and received a unanimous standing ovation from the judges and audience at their first audition in London.
Collabro progressed to the final of Britain’s Got Talent and were cast the winners in front of 11 million viewers.
The band have since signed a record deal with SYCO Music with their hotly anticipated debut album due for release on July 14.
The band said: “We are so excited to be going on tour and to be joined by Lucy Kay too.
“We can’t wait to sing live to our fans and show the UK what we have to offer.”
Joining Collabro is Britain’s Got Talent runner up Lucy Kay.
The Glasgow-based opera singer stunned the judges and audience at her opening audition performing ‘Vissi D’arte’ and finished second with her rapturous and heartfelt performance of ‘Nessun Dorma’.
On joining the tour, Lucy said: “I feel so very honoured and excited to be joining Collabro on their UK tour, I’m living out one of my dreams and I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
A spokesman for the tour said: “This 2015 tour will give fans and viewers the chance to witness Collabro and Lucy Kay’s incredible talent and is not to be missed.
