THE Ashby Show is celebrating its centenary in style with a member of the Royal Family conducting the official opening, a BBC presenter judging livestock classes and a world-class motocross stunt team wowing the crowds.

The show opens to the public at 8.30am on Sunday, July 13 at Cattows Farm, in Heather.

His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester will officially open proceedings at 11.30am and main ring entertainment follows immediately with a parade celebrating 100 Years of Farming.

Ashby Show Chairman Mrs Lesley Whittaker said: “Our 100th Show will be our best yet, packed with top quality attractions, entertainment and the very best of British livestock and produce.”
