We are starting to see an increase in house burglaries where windows and doors have been left insecure.
Keep your door locked at all times and especially if you are in the garden. It only takes an opportunist thief minutes to commit these sneak in burglaries.
Don’t make it easy for them

Between Wednesday, March 13 and Monday, March 18, offenders forced the rear door and window of a bungalow in Park Street, Newhall. However the thieves did not manage to get in and left empty handed. Do you have any information about this burglary?

Between 3pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday, Mach 19, offenders entered a house in Newman Drive, Church Gresley by an insecure door.
Once inside thieves took the opportunity and stole a dark blue leather wallet containing credit cards and cash. Were you in the area around this time and did you see the thief?

Between 3pm and 3.30pm on Monday, March 18, offenders entered a house in Risborrow Close, Etwall by an insecure door. Once inside thieves took the opportunity and stole property including an Apple iPod Touch and an Apple iPad in a purple case.

Overnight between Monday, March 18 and Tuesday, March 19, offenders forced the lock of a shed in the rear garden of a house in Salford Way, Church Gresley. Once inside thieves stole a quantity of tools including a Makita hedge trimmer, an Efco leaf blower and a Husqvarna chain saw. Have you been offered any of these tools recently?
