DRIVERS in East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire are being reminded about changes to their car tax.
Last week it was announced that motorists would no longer have to display paper discs in their window from October 1. However the DVLA has moved to allay fears among non-computer users that they would only be able to renew online. A spokesman said: "The change is simply that we will no longer be issuing paper tax discs, it does not mean that people can only renew online.
"Those who do not have the internet or are unable to get online will still be able to pay over the counter at the post office."
