Dangerous driver cyclist warning

MORE than half of cyclists feel unsafe on the roads, new cycling survey finds.

The news comes months after Andrew Mylrea was convicted of causing by dangerous driving after he hit veteran cyclist Patrick Kenny on the A38 Clay Mills slip road at around 60mph on January 21 last year.

According to new research from British cycling clothing manufacturer Li & Co ltd more than half of cyclists do not feel safe cycling on the roads even though 90 per cent majority of them wear helmets and use cycling lights to protect them.

It revealed that three out of 10 cyclists had been involved in an accident showing that even the experienced are at risk.
