A DEVELOPER which had plans to build 110 homes in a South Derbyshire village rejected to the delight of campaigners has lodged an appeal against the decision.
Gladman Developments pledged to fight South Derbyshire District Council's decision when plans to build on land in High Street, Linton, was thrown out in December last year.
The firm said at the time that there were 'no technical matters on which this proposal should be refused'.
But Brian Wolsey, a member of Linton Action Village Group, previously said: "Linton is not a sustainable location."
The appeal is due to be heard on September 9.
