LOCAL dignitaries were the guests of honour for the grand opening of the extended Clinigen headquarters in Burton.
The town’s MP Andrew Griffiths and East Staffordshire mayor Councillor Michael Rodgers were among the people helping to mark the occasion on Tuesday. Carlton Brass Band provided some musical entertainment.
The offices of the pharmaceutical company, at Pitcairn House, Centrum 100, underwent a major refurbishment last year, which increased the floor space by around 50 per cent.
Mr Griffiths said: “I’m delighted to open the new headquarters of Clinigen in Burton.
“It is a fantastic local business performing across the world. The phenomenal success of the Group is thanks to the hard work and commitment of the dedicated team.”
