FAIRIES, princesses, villains and pirates will be descending on Tutbury Castle during the August bank holiday weekend.

The castle is once again holding its Fairytale Weekend and will have some fantastic visitors to its grounds from the pages of bedtime stories and nursery rhymes.

Guided tours around the Great Hall will allow visitors to learn more about the tales of a real enchanted castle.

The tea room will also be open, granting the wish of a cup of tea to many mums and dads in need of a sit down.

Knights in shining armour and pixies will mean this will be an enchanting weekend no matter how old you are.

Gates will be open from 11am to 5pm, with last admission at 4pm, from Friday, August 22 until Monday, August 25.

Tickets are priced £6 for adults, £4 for concessions and are free for children under five. Anyone interested can book in advance online at www. tutburycastle.com.
