ENGLAND will play two UEFA Under-19 Championships elite qualifying round games at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium next month.
The Young Lions welcome Ukraine, Montenegro and Scotland to England in May for the final round of qualification fixtures for the Euro U19 Championship, which takes place in Hungary in July.
Drawn in Group A, England will play their three guests over five days, with only the group winners progressing to the last eight.
On Saturday, May 24, they face Montenegro at Walsall’s Banks’s Stadium, while the Pirelli welcomes Ukraine and Scotland, kick-off 7.30pm.
Two days later, England take on the auld enemy Scotland at the Pirelli, kick-off 7.30pm, before taking on the Ukraine on Thursday, May 29, kick-off 3pm.
The finals also act as a qualification mechanism for the 2015 Under-20 World Cup, which takes place in New Zealand next June.
To secure qualification for the World Cup, England must first qualify for the U19s finals, and then finish among the top six in UEFA's annual tournament.
Noel Blake's side secured their place in the elite round after finishing top of their first qualifying round group in Slovenia last September.
They were last in action in March, when they beat Turkey 3-0 in Chester.
Tickets are now on sale for games at both venues, priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
