AUDIENCE members attending a charity concert in South Derbyshire are being promised a night to remember.
Gresley Old Hall will come alive with the sound of music from 7.15pm on Saturday, January 19, when Gresley Male Voice Choir and Gresley Boys Choir take the stage.
Musical Director Karl Harper said: “It promises to be a enthralling evening of entertainment.”
Among the repertoire will be popular film themes, classic opera and well known showstoppers.
Tanya Hilton, who trained at St Petersburg School of Music and has performed as a solo pianist and accompanist in Russia, Ukraine, UK, Italy and France, will also perform.
Mr Harper added: “Our aim, as it always is, is to put on a show that appeals to anyone who loves music.
“We will be pushing the boundaries again.”
Funds will go to the British Heart Foundation and the Women’s Land Army Tribute, the chosen charities of Mick Bale, chairman of South Derbyshire District Council.
Tickets, priced £5 each, are still available by calling 01283 595765 or 01283 222848.
