A FORMER Burton Albion manager will be star of the show at tomorrow’s game to promote his brand new book.
Roy McFarland, who also managed Chesterfield as well playing for England, will be attending the Brewers game with Chesterfield to sell copies of his new book ‘Roy Mac: Clough’s Champion’.
Roy was the Brewers’ manager when the club won promotion to the Football League in 2009 and he will be back at the Pirelli Stadium to sign copies of his autobiography.
He will also be mingling with the club’s corporate guests before the game and will be in the Tom Bradbury’ lounge during half-time.
After the game, he will be in the Pirelli Stadium’s main reception at the main entrance so those fans from the main stand seating and the terracing can visit him to purchase the book and get it signed by the former footballing great.
His new book is on sale now and costs £14.99.
It chronicles his life and times in football from his time as a player and also through to his time as a manager.
