SMALL businesses in Staffordshire could earn backing to export goods and grow their operation through a new initiative being launched this month.
The Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Enterprise Partnership has teamed up with UK Trade and Investment to offer the Exporting Voucher Scheme – an initiative which helps companies develop their international markets.
It has been funded through the Government's Regional Growth Fund.
Local Enterprise Partnership chairman David Frost said: "Exporting can make a real difference to business and our economy. This initiative will support small businesses preparing to take their first steps exporting products and services to new overseas markets."
