A HOST of family events has meant that youngsters have been ‘spoilt for choice’ at a popular South Derbyshire tourist attraction.

Bosses at Rosliston Forestry Centre organised a range of fun events in an effort to keep children entertained during half term.

Among the most popular attractions were a falconry display, fishing and special combat events.

A spokesman for the centre said: “Down at Rosliston Forestry Centre there’s something for all the family, with a large range of activities and events keeping you entertained for hours.

“Walks, fishing, cycle hire, play areas, falconry.

“These are just some of the things on offer every day of the year at the centre along with special events this half term such as laser combat and astronomy groups.

“Not only can you easily make a day out of the activities at the centre, accommodation is also available to book making your stay enjoyably longer.

“Events rooms and venue hire means Rosliston can be the place for a beautiful wedding or business meeting.

“A restaurant, picnic tables are available and you can even bring your own barbecue.”
