CONCERNS are growing for a poorly cat which has been missing from Newhall for more than a month.

Radar has not been seen at his home in Sunnyside since the middle of June, and family are becoming increasingly worried about him.

The 16-month-old cat has a blood disorder, and needs medication to help him survive.

If he does not receive it, there is a chance he will die.

His owner Kay Tomlinson told the Mail: "If he is still about he probably has three weeks max left to live as when his red blood cells die off they will not be replaced as his pills stopped his system from killing off the newly made cells."

She said people may now start to notice a cat which is unwell in their gardens. Radar is small and grey with darker, stripey markings. One of his legs was shaved by the vet before he went missing, and the hair will still be growing back.

Pictures of the cat are available by visiting the Facebook page Please Help Find Radar, and anyone who sees him should call Kay Tomlinson, his owner, on 07754 105597.
