LEICESTERSHIRE Police have released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to following a burglary in Ashby.

The occupants of a house on Willesley Road have recently spoken out and appealed for witnesses that could help identify two suspects in relation to the burglary which took place at their home between 12.15am and 8am on Saturday, March 29.

A number of high-value identifiable items were taken from the address, including two Apple iPhones, an Apple iPad, a HP laptop, credit cards and two Gucci wallets which are described as being brown with a small bow. Detective Constable 1340 Paul Burchell, who is investigating the incident, said: “We are actively carrying out enquiries to identify those responsible for the burglary on Willesley Road, and are calling upon the public to help us if they witnessed any part of the incident. We would especially like to speak to anyone who recognises the men in the images, even if you’re not 100 per cent sure about their identity we would still like to speak to you. Any calls received will be treated in confidence.”

Anyone that may have information regarding the burglary is asked to contact DC Burchell on the non-emergency 101 number, following the instructions to leave a message and when prompted key in his identification number. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
