EAGER walkers have been urged to sign up for a free one-day training course full of practical advice on how to keep motivated.
Those who want to join in the fun on Friday, March 14, at Rosliston Forestry Centre, must book in advance.
Debbie Chesterman, who runs activity sessions at the forestry centre, said the session is part of the national Walking for Health scheme.
She said: “Walking for Health is a national scheme where volunteers lead walks in their local area to help people get healthier and happier.
“The course is a day of practical advice and includes practice leading a walk and tips on how to keep people motivated.”
Anyone who would like to reserve their place must email firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 01283 563483.
