POLICE have renewed their appeal for information about a Burton burglary.
The incident happened at about 1.25am on Thursday when raiders used a car, thought to be a dark BMW with roof bars, to ram the doors of the Spar shop in Rosliston Road, Stapenhill.
The offenders, described as two white men wearing dark clothing, escaped in the car with cigarettes and National Lottery scratchcards.
Detective Constable Stuart Coleman, of Staffordshire Police, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has been offered any National Lottery scratchcards for sale.
“During the burglary a display containing scratchcards was stolen. They are of no real value as any winning cards will be void, but it is likely the offenders may have tried to sell them to residents in the Burton area.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact the police by calling 101.
