A NORTH West Leicestershire community group is seeking public opinion on a new footpath project.
Friends of Ashby Bath Grounds are asking people to complete an on-line public consultation questionnaire and have their say about the project.
The footpath project was launched earlier in the year and will see an all-weather, pedestrian and wheelchair-friendly link through the Bath Grounds, running from the South Street entrance, behind the bowls club to Prior Park Road – similar to paths at Eureka Park in Swadlincote.
Ashby Town Council has given its support to the project and will seek formal approval at the parks and cemeteries committee meeting on September 15.
The survey is available to fill out at www.bathgroundsfriends.webs.com/projects
