THE Carpet Crawlers, officially Europe's 'ultimate' Genesis tribute show, are proud to present their brand new UK tour for autumn 2014.

These new live shows will take the form of a 40th anniversary celebration of 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway', the top 10 double LP released by the Peter Gabriel fronted Genesis in November 1974 that is considered by fans and music critics alike to be one of the legendary British rock act's most iconic albums.

Based in Liverpool, The Carpet Crawlers are renowned worldwide for their incredibly energetic three hour concerts packed with stunning theatrics and costumes, all prepared right down to the minutest detail so as to honour the spirit and sheer 'joi-de-vivre' of those classic original early-Genesis shows from the 1970s.

The band features Brian Cummins on lead vocals who has been headhunted in recent weeks by none other than his hero Peter Gabriel's original band members in the USA to front their own forthcoming music project.

This incredible likeness to Peter Gabriel has seen Brian undertake a recent US/Canadian tour as well as playing a triumphant solo spot at the prestigious Loreley Festival in Germany to thousands of people this summer.

The Carpet Crawlers' 40th anniversary celebration of 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway' show will stop off in Lichfield on September 17 and Stafford on September 26.

Tickets prices and details are set to be announced nearer to the dates.
