LULLINGTON Park skipper Richard Green is hoping for more of the same as his side look for a third consecutive win away to reigning champions Sandiacre Town tomorrow.
The South Derbyshire side beat local rivals Dunstall in their opening game of the Derbyshire County Premier League season, before seeing off Matlock last weekend.
They did suffer defeat in the ECB National Club Championship first round against Tamworth, but Green was still happy with his team’s start to the season.
He said: “We are very happy, and we certainly can’t complain.
“Our bowling has been better than it has been in the past, and normally our games go down to the last wicket, but we’ve been winning with wickets to spare so far this season.
“Hopefully we can keep that going against Sandiacre.”
The Longmoor Lane side won the championship last season, but Park are previous champions themselves, and Green is anticipating another classic encounter.
He said: “It will be a difficult game like always.
“It is always a good game against them ad hopefully it will be another one on Saturday.”
Green has no injury worries, and will name the same team to the one who beat Matlock last Saturday.
