BUDDING entrepreneurs thinking of running their own business can pick up handy hints and tips at a free workshop.

The informal afternoon will take place from 1pm to 4pm on Friday, March 1, 2013, at Sharpe’s Pottery Museum, in West Street, Swadlincote.

Everyone – whether it is creative minds considering dipping their toes into the water or those who have recently started out - is welcome to attend.

Experts David Richards and Peter McBride, who run the South Derbyshire Business Advice Service, are staging the event.

Councillor Bob Wheeler, leader of funders South Derbyshire District Council, said: “For anyone thinking of going into business, this workshop will provide a practical and insightful guide.

“David and Peter offer friendly advice on what you need to think about and the steps to go through to start out. We hope it will help South Derbyshire’s entrepreneurs of the future to get a first step on the ladder.”

Places can be booked by phoning Linda McFetridge at Swadlincote Jobcentre on 01283 233523.
