HILTON Harriers Jets and TS Sports Hammers both progressed in the BURTON JUNIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE WINSHILL SOCCER SCHOOL UNDER-10 CUP to maintain their perfect starts to the season.
The South Derbyshire rivals had both won all four of their league games and stayed on the victory trail with matching 5-1 successes.
TS had potentially the more difficult task against Division One rivals Winshill but made it look easy thanks to goals from Rupert Collins, Will Machell, Ben Prince, Tommy Gotheridge and Cian Riordan as their opponents had to settle for a Ford Chambers consolation.
Lower division Chellaston Red Sox were unable to bridge the gap as Hilton eased into the next round with goals from Daniel Dodd (2), Nathan Brown, Max Peplow and Sam Mycroft.
Hilton Harriers Tornadoes needed penalties to get the better of underdogs Riverside Athletic Black after the sides had drawn 2-2.

Chellaston Black Sox needed goals from substitutes Thomas Cripps and Marcus Nwokoro to see off lower division Rocester Blue, while Finlay McNeill scored the only goal to ease Santos Juniors Ravens past Ashby Ivanhoe Jesters.
Doveridge progressed at the expense of Stretton Eagles thanks to a Lewis Thornton double but a Cole Tunnicliffe strike was not enough for Willington as Whittington Villa edged it 2-1 thanks to Joshua Cox and Harry Parker.
Both Belvedere Park teams progressed with 1-0 victories, Henry Collins scoring for the Blacks against Ashby Ivanhoe Knights and Reiss Williams clinching victory against Rolleston Red.
A solitary goal from Joe Wheatcroft was also enough to take TS Sports Villa through against Netherseal St Peter’s.
Humphrey Jackson made life easier for Hilton Harriers Flyers, with Joseph Hilton also on target in a 4-0 defeat of Uttoxeter Juniors.
Matthew Jobson and Dylan Tubey were not enough to spare Outwoods Eagles a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Whittington Lasers.
Outwoods Hawks also went out as Belvedere Park White completed a hat-trick of wins for the club.
Their scorers in a 4-1 success were Alex Hodson (2), Luke Adams and Stuart Lacey as Harry Murphy netted a consolation goal for Hawks.
Hatton Sports went through on penalties after being held 1-1 by Albert Village Tornadoes as Oliver Higgs and Dihan Choudhary netted for their respective teams.
It rained goals in the clash between Alrewas Colts and LRT.
Alrewas won it 6-5 thanks to efforts from Callum Richardson (2), James Wynne-Raji (2), Ben Franks and Joseph Wilson, leaving LRT’s Jack Smith unlucky to be on the losing side after scoring a hat-trick.
In the BURTON ALBION UNDER-11 CUP, Division One leaders Willington Blue were given a run for their money by Hilton Harriers Blaze but made it through 2-1 thanks to goals from Ayden Beesia and Sam Oxford as Michael Birch netted a consolation goal at the other end.
Harry Mason scored four times for Willington White - but it was not enough as Aston Millington (3), Jack Matthews and Ben Sawbridge clinched victory for Barton Rovers Spartans in a nine-goal thriller.
Edward Chandler’s goal was not enough for Winshill Gold as they went down 2-1 to Mayfield, while goals from Callum Bell, Matthew Hughes, Ethan Deas and Kai Wilson clinched a 4-0 win for Tutbury Tigers against Hatton Sports.
Zak Davoli, Nathan Howell, Ben Tye and Toby Ganley were the scorers as Outwoods Eagles progressed by the same margin against Uttoxeter Juniors.
Division Two title hopefuls Stretton Eagles went on the rampage to bury Hilton Harriers under a 10-goal avalanche from Ethan Mellor (4), Jack Thatcher (2), Kane Tisdall (2), Aaron Hogg and Kyle Harman.
Ashby Ivanhoe also made it to double figures as Winshill Green took a 10-2 beating.
Ivanhoe had Ben Windridge (3), Malachy O’Callaghan (2), Cole Meadows-Quinn (2), Tom Fargher (2) and Harley Chevin on the scoresheet as a Harry Barrington-Earp double eased some of the pain for Winshill.
Uttoxeter Juniors have two sides in the next round after the Blacks beat Abbots Bromley 5-4 and the Greys edged it 3-2 against Marlborough Rovers Yellow.
Harry Dodd, Haydn O’Neill, William Boyle and Jacob Hurst steered Riverside Athletic Black to a 4-1 success as Fabien Kerlo pulled one back for Newhall Lions.
TS Sports went out on penalties after Michael Booth, Thomas Brint and Benjamin Wallbank scored in a 3-3 draw with Whittington Colts.
