FIREFIGHTERS have battled a major blaze in South Derbyshire.
Four fire crews were dispatched to Hilton Industrial Estate, in Sutton Lane, Hilton, in the early hours of yesterday.
The flames raged for three hours after a single-storey building caught alight.
Fire investigation teams are still trying to determine what started the inferno.
A spokesman for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Our control room was contacted at 2.51am yesterday following reports of a fire at Hilton Industrial Park.
"Crews from Kingsway, Ascot Drive and Nottingham Road were dispatched, alongside a crew from Staffordshire to deal with the blaze.
"Upon arrival they found that a single-storey business unit was on fire.
"Crews had to enter the site using breathing apparatus in a bid to try to control the flames.
"The fire was eventually put out and damped down by 5.42am, when all crews left the scene.
"Nobody was hurt as result of the fire.
"Derbyshire Police were called to the incident and did attend alongside fire service crews for the entirety of the fire."
