A NINETEENTH century church is hoping to attract more visitors.
St Paul's Church, situated in St Paul's Square, Burton, is a large and majestic building with wonderful architecture. It comes with a large cost in the form of maintenance bills for the upkeep of the church.
St Paul's is normally open on weekdays from midday until 2pm, as well as for services at 9.30am on Sundays and Tuesdays and 12.30pm on Fridays.
Churchgoers hope attracting more visitors will increase donations given to the church.
A church spokesperson added: "We are keen to encourage members of the public to call in, whether they are just walking by, or waiting at the train station with 15 minutes spare."
